She has experience in both corporation and private client taxes, including income tax, capital gains tax, and corporation tax for small to large companies and groups. Rebecca’s role involves providing advice in these areas.
Before joining ETC, I worked for over 18 years at a national firm where I developed my knowledge of different areas of tax and spent most of my time working in corporation tax compliance and advising companies.
After graduating from University with my Mathematics degrees it made sense to look at a career involving numbers as I have a very logical and analytical brain, but also needed something that involved a challenge and was always varied. When looking through my options tax appealed to me. My first tax job was the start of my professional career and it has gone from strength to strength ever since.
I am very logical, analytical, organised, and enthusiastic.
I like that every day can be different.
My worst bits are that I like being detailed and thorough in everything I do, which can be annoying. I hate leaving jobs incomplete, being disorganised and in disarray.

Something to do with maths and equations, as I like solving problems, e.g. a code-breaker, but computers beat me to it.
