Pamela Boyd

Finance Coordinator

Pamela plays a critical role as Finance Coordinator in the day to day running of the office. She has responsibility for all financial matters, such as purchase ledgers, monthly projections and credit control.

As Finance Coordinator, she supports the tax team with producing billing reports alongside providing our Director with a financial overview month by month.

Life before ETC

Before joining ETC, Pamela previously worked as a Legal Secretary at Forbes Solicitors, Preston and then went on to act as a PA to the Finance Director at Leyland Trucks, Lancashire. She has also completed roles in accounts, reception and retail management.

Why a career in Administration?

After leaving school I secured a Junior Accounts role in a construction company. I then relocated to Lancashire and found myself in a Legal Secretary role in the Crown Court department of a large solicitor’s firm and following that I went into a PA role at Leyland Trucks (I really enjoyed both of these jobs). I then spent a few years as a full-time mum and returned to work in Retail Management & Hospitality, which was good fun but extremely tiring and not what I wanted to do long term. I always knew I wanted to return to some sort of PA/Admin role as it’s the job I feel I excel at.

My best (and worst) bits

I like to think I am friendly, honest and good fun, but I know I can also be quite loud and outspoken.
