Jane acts as a consultant to ETC Tax, working with the team to advise on all VAT matters.
After graduating in law Jane became a Solicitor by qualification and a practising Chartered Tax Advisor, specialising in VAT. She is also a member of the VAT Practitioner Group. Jane has over 24 years of experience starting her career as a graduate trainee with PwC. She has worked for 3 of the top four accountancy firms, a small tax boutique specialising in VAT investigations and litigation, as well as a small and medium tier accountancy practice where she was responsible for setting up and running the VAT departments.
Jane has experience in dealing with large corporate clients, as well as smaller OMBs. She understands the needs of the big companies and the passion, or sometimes the despair, of the sole trader. Jane’s experience extends to all areas of VAT. She has particular experience in land and property, partial exemption, planning and consultancy.
I am not your stereotypical boring VAT person; well, I’d like to think I’m not. I’m funny, friendly, approachable, and here to help.
