Breakfast club is an in-person event
For the last 12 months, we have been running breakfast networking events in Altrincham, primarily (but not exclusively) aimed at those working in the legal and financial services sector.

What is it all about?
Our Breakfast Club networking events are designed to be very relaxed and informal, with no agenda. It’s all about getting to know people who work in similar businesses in the local (Altrincham, Hale, Sale and Timperley ) area.
What do I need to know?
Breakfast is paid for by us (we ask you to order in advance from a set menu around a week before), and we will be in touch nearer the event. (For further information, please email comms@etctax.)
You will have plenty of opportunity to mingle with like-minded people both before and when seated, for breakfast.

As part of our Ladies That Launch series, we held a successful event at the Con Club with clients and colleagues from in and around Altrincham. Guest speakers included Judy Parsons, aka The LinkedIn Lady, who shared LinkedIn tips and insights, and Julie Harris, a headshot expert, who offered guidance on creating the perfect smile for professional headshots.
Our 10-year anniversary was celebrated in May 2025 with a small gathering of close contacts from throughout our journey.

Time - Arrive between 9 am and 9:30am for tea and coffee, breakfast at 9:30am and close by 10:30am.

-The team at ETC Tax would like to invite you to join us for a 'NetWalking' morning outing at Dunham Park and its picturesque village surroundings.
Date: Thursday 25th April
Time: 9:30 am till 11.30am
Location: The Dunham Barn
We'll start our day at The Dunham Barn with delicious freshly made bacon buttie (or a vegetarian alternative) accompanied by a refreshing tea or coffee, setting the perfect tone for our stroll through the picturesque National Trust Dunham Park.
Our route will then lead us along the scenic Bridgewater Canal, before returning to The Dunham Barn at approximately 11.30

Following on from the success of our "Fizz and Fashion" event in November 2021, ETC Tax presents our second Ladies that Launch event, "Sparkle and Shine", taking place on Thursday 29th June at The Con Club, Altrincham, WA14 1RZ between 6pm and 9pm.
At our first event we focused on ensuring you were dressed for success, this time the event is all about building your personal brand, particularly online.
What can you expect from the evening?
Well for starters you can look forward to an evening of good company and networking opportunities with like-minded female professionals. It goes without saying that drinks and nibbles will be free flowing.
Our main event brings us our speakers for the night - Judy Parsons – ‘The LinkedIn Lady’ and Julie Harris of Julie Harris Photography'.
You may think you have attended LinkedIn training before, but this isn't just LinkedIn tips. Judy will explain how you can unlock your full potential when it comes to LinkedIn, ensuring sure that you are able to build authority with your audience and that you are really getting the most out of the platform in terms of building your own reputation and brand.
Judy will be followed by Julie who works with business owners and professionals who are serious about their careers, giving them the confidence and knowledge on how to use their images to their best effect, applying a unique personalised process which really takes them from ‘Hiding to Shining’ on social media and beyond.
What do we need from you?
All that we ask in return for attending what promises to be a fantastic event, is that you share this invite with another female professional that you think also deserves treat. This could be a colleague, a favourite or valued client or another professional contact.

Judy Parsons, The LinkedIn Lady

Julie Harris
30 years ago, Julie began her career as a graphic designer, having also trained as a counsellor, but having taken a break to start a family, she decided to create a business doing the one thing she had loved since childhood.
“I have always had a camera in my hand, recording family life and noticing interactions around me. It fascinates me, the ability to create a fracture in time and preserve it through photography. Moments, memories and emotions, my life is defined by the photographs I take".
I started my business offering family portraits and weddings, but then three years ago, the big ‘C’ hit, and this made me re-think what I was doing. It was at that time, that I discovered a fairly new genre called ‘Personal Brand Photography’ and after much research and training realised that I had found the perfect synergy of my years of design, counselling and photography experience. It opened up a whole new world of creativity.
I now work with professionals all over the world who have a strong message they want to shout about, but sometimes struggle to get their voice heard. I help them gain the confidence they need to promote themselves by working with them to create authentic, brand images. I help them to do this through a unique personalised process taking them from ‘Hiding to Shining’ on social media.
Over the past 3 years I have helped a huge variety of clients to be more confident using their images online, such as accountants, consultants, artists, musicians, jewellers, Ted X speakers, property developers, interior designers and linguists.
