Making the complex simple
With a Tax Partner Pro membership, accountants, lawyers, trustees, CSPs, wealth advisers and other professionals can elevate their services and expertise with behind-the-scenes support from a team of qualified tax experts who are available to answer a range of tax queries on all areas of UK tax including VAT.
Tax Partner Pro is perfect for queries which don’t amount to consultancy projects, for obtaining a second opinion or for peace of mind.
Using feedback we have received from our members, many of whom already have tax helplines through their fee protection insurance or other subscriptions; we have highlighted what we believe are the key differences between Tax Partner Pro and other helplines.
• All advice can be provided in writing should you wish. (This is our default service, although we do also offer a callback service should you want this).
• We aim to give you an answer – we won’t sit on the fence
• We won’t simply point you to the legislation or HMRC guidance
• We have a team of skilled experts from different tax disciplines who are all together meaning we can provide an holistic service
• We are able to make suggestions on other tax (and non-tax) considerations you may not have thought of
• Your query will be dealt with by a senior member of our team who has the right level of expertise to respond to your query
• We only charge to the minute (and the first 30 minutes are included in your monthly subscription cost).
As many people as you wish can use the service, but if you wish to limit its use to certain individuals within your practice, we ask that you provide us with a list of names of those who are authorised to submit enquiries on your business’ behalf and to keep us informed of any changes to that list.
Our email service is operated between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays. There is no service between Christmas and New Year.
In most situations, we aim to respond to your email within 24 hours; but please allow up to 72 hours for a response during busy periods.
In most situations we would hope to be able to respond to your enquiry without needing to speak to you, but if we do need to clarify anything we may need to give you a call. Any clarification calls or emails will not be charged for.
Any time we spend providing written email advice is logged on a time-sheet. A copy of our time-sheets are sent to you each month, so that you have an opportunity to raise any queries.
No. If an email only takes 2 minutes to respond to that is all the time we record.
