What’s New This Week @ETC Tax – W/C 3rd December 2018
As the Christmas break draws nearer, the hard work still continues. Here is what we have been working on this week:
– Advising a non-domiciled individual on the suitability of claiming the remittance basis in consideration of their overseas income and gains.
– Advising on inheritance tax planning in respect of holiday homes in the UK and New Zealand.
– Ongoing management of a HMRC tax fraud investigation under Code of Practice 9
– Providing training to accountants on inheritance tax, employee benefit trusts and HMRC’s Disguised Remuneration Settlement Opportunity.
